Our honour and pride not only lies in being
the first college in Nepal to introduce
the BIM program, but also for our earnest
endeavour to develop and train IT professionals
with management skills to meet the challenges
of the present and future. Our vision over
these years has taken a concrete form as
our first, second and third batches are working
in reputed organizations of the country.
Our achievements can be rightly placed
on our iron pillars, the faculty members.
They with their years of experience, knowledge
and dedication have helped a great deal
in our march towards achieving our target.
With these gigantic assets KCMIT would be
the best option for a secure future.
Once the students enter the portal of KCMIT
an eternal bond exists between the management
faculty and the students. We work as a family
keeping in mind the overall development
of the enthusiastic youth who comes under
our wings to carve a bright future. In a
nutshell our endless effort has been and
will always be to produce professionally
sound, socially responsible citizens who
are the pride of the nation.
Students during the eighth semester will
be attached to organizations where they
have to work for a period of eight weeks.
Each student has to prepare an individual
report in the prescribed format based on
his/her work in the respective organization
assigned to him/her.
This kind of internship program provides
students with:-
1. The opportunity to implement the knowledge
acquired at KCMIT.
2. The link between their studies and their
careers.
3. Enhancing their communication skill by
interaction with all concerned.
4. Strengthening their positive traits and
discovering their weaknesses and finding
ways to improve on them.
The college has a placement cell whereby
efforts are made to arouse the interest
of different organizations in our students.
When students are in the eighth semester
organizations are requested to venture into
the potentialities of the students by conducting
interviews, observing them during presentation
and seminars. Representatives from different
organizations during these sessions have
a varied option of talents to choose from,
as each one through the years at KCMIT is
prepared to meet the challenges of the job
market . We also instruct our students to
give of their best at the place of their
internship so that avenues for their future
could be carved within that span of time. |
